According to the statistics of the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to November, the output of ten non-ferrous metals in China was 50.43 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.1%. Among them, refined copper production was 8.17 million tons, up 10.7% year-on-year; primary aluminum production was 31.45 million tons, up 7.5% year-on-year; refined lead production was 4.45 million tons, up 6.5% year-on-year; zinc production was 5.18 million tons, down 3.3% year-on-year. The amount of six concentrate metals was 5.42 million tons, down 0.8% year-on-year. The output of alumina was 66.28 million tons, an increase of 9.1% year-on-year. The output of copper was 15.61 million tons, up 14.6% year-on-year; the output of aluminum was 41.09 million tons, up 0.2% year-on-year.

According to the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, in November 2018, the average spot price of copper in the domestic market was 49,432 yuan/ton, down 8.1% year-on-year; the average spot price of aluminum was 13,801 yuan/ton, down 10.1% year-on-year; the average spot price of lead was 18,700 yuan/ Tonne, up 0.03% year-on-year; the average price of zinc spot was 21,921 yuan / ton, down 15.8% year-on-year.

From January to November, China’s unwrought copper and copper imports were 4.869 million tons, up 14.9% year-on-year; unwrought aluminum and aluminum exports were 5.27 million tons, up 21.1% year-on-year; rare earth exports were 47,690 tons, up 2.6% year-on-year.
